I was jumping in headfirst – there was no time to doubt myself. By giving it my all, I became a stronger, better version of myself as I navigated the field of real estate and built a successful career. With my success, I have looked outward and found new ways to help my community and give back.


It was one of those days where nothing was going right. I was stressed out and frustrated. At the time, I was working as the director of early childhood programs. I needed to vent and talk with someone, so I contacted one of my best friends, who had been one of my best teachers until she left to get her real estate license. When I asked her to go to lunch, she said, “I can’t go to lunch – I’m too busy selling houses!”

The transition from a structured 9 to 5 job to being a real estate agent was both freeing and challenging for me. I had to get used to creating my own schedule and being in control of my destiny, but with Reggie’s support, I felt confident and ready to take on the challenge.


In September 2016, I got my real estate license and hit the ground running. I started off small, working hard to find clients and build a reputation for myself. I was lucky enough to have a mentor who gave me some valuable advice early on. She told me to do a phone dump and notify every one of my friends and let them know that I was a REALTOR®. At first, I was skeptical, but I followed her advice and was shocked at how many people trusted me and believed in my abilities.


By December 2016, I had sold over $1 million in real estate. I couldn’t believe how quickly I had found traction in the industry. I never looked back with regret about leaving my previous career. I was ready for a change and jumped into real estate with both feet, ready to make a difference and help my clients find their dream homes. I am driven, determined, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my clients are happy and satisfied.


As my business grew, my husband and I set our sights on something bigger. We wanted to make a difference in our community. So, we decided to focus on flipping homes to create affordable living. We seek out homes that need a lot of work, and when they are ready, we sell them, always aiming to keep the prices as low as possible. It is important to us to create options for people and help improve our community.


Flipping homes is a challenging but rewarding experience. We put our hearts and souls into making these homes beautiful again. The satisfaction we get from creating affordable living is unlike anything else, and we are so proud to be a part of enhancing our community.


As I look to the future, I have big plans. My husband and I want to grow our team and continue to create affordable living for families in our area. My daughter, Kira, has joined me in real estate, which has been an exciting adventure to guide her through. My oldest son, Reggie, is a financial advisor for NBA players, and my youngest son, Miles, is in high school. With everything I have achieved on this journey, they are still my greatest source of pride and joy.


When I am working with clients, I always ask myself, “Would I recommend this home to one of my children?” I uphold a high level of respect and integrity because I want to contribute to my community and have a positive impact. The people behind every transaction are what matter most.
